Beginners will continue with the basic techniques used in Book 1. This design is also a geometrical oval and therefore you are already familiar with the pattern. This will enable you to learn a new stitch such as the Clones knot. The Clones knot is fully diagramed with 9 figures and step by step instructions. The stitches used in Book 2 are: single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, treble crochet, double treble crochet, triple treble crochet, clones knot, puff stitch, and a cluster stitch. The bullion stitches in the center pendant and bracelet are embroidered by hand. The choker band measures 14 1/2 inches and the pendant measures 1 1/4 by 2 3/4 inches. The bracelet measure just over 7 inches. |
