In this first book, the beginner is introduces 2 basic Irish crochet techniques: How to make a ring and the use of a padding cord. The design is a simple one based on a geometrical oval. The basic stitches used are a single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, treble crochet, double treble crochet, and the puff stitch. Each technique is diagrammed with instructions. The pendant measures 2 5/8 inches at its widest point and the necklace band is approx. 35 inches. |
